- SMOFlipid is indicated in patients who needs intravenous nutrition to supply energy, essential fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids
20% SMOF, (100ml, 250ml, 500ml) glass bottle,
- Adult: Standard dose: 1.0 – 2.0 g fat/kg body wt
- Neonates & infants: 0.5 – 1.0g fat/kg body wt/day, Followed by: 0.5 -1.0 g fat/kg body wt/day up to 3.0 g fat/kg body wt/day
- Children: It is recommended not to exceed a daily dose of 3 g fat/kg body wt/day. Daily dose gradually increased during first week
