Community Engagement
Fresenius Kabi is committed to supporting our communities as well as scientific, clinical and educational institutions and programs intended to improve human health and well-being. We accomplish this through employee engagement and financial support, which is intended only for organizations who share our commitment to equality and inclusion, as demonstrated through alignment of their non-discrimination and anti-harassment policies to Fresenius Kabi’s Code of Conduct.
The American Nurse Project
The aim of The American Nurse Project is to elevate the voice of nurses in this country by capturing their personal stories through photography and film, inspiring audiences to think about nurses in a way they may never have before, with a newfound appreciation for this indispensable figure on the front lines of health. Fresenius Kabi is the sole sponsor of this project’s book and feature-length documentary, and provides support for The American Nurse Scholarship Fund with the proceeds from these activities.

Blood Collectors Week
Thousands of blood collectors across the United States work tirelessly every day to ensure a positive experience for donors and to secure a safe and adequate supply of blood for patients. For more than a decade, Fresenius Kabi has partnered with AABB to sponsor the annual Blood Collectors Week. Each year we recognize the outstanding contributions of all these professionals with turnkey tools that blood centers can use to thank their current employees and invite new candidates to join their ranks.

National Blood Donation Hall of Fame
Transfusion medicine professionals — from researchers and engineers to clinicians and blood collectors — depend on the deep generosity of donors and volunteers to make their critical work possible. Fresenius Kabi has partnered with blood centers, through the National Blood Donation Hall of Fame, for over 25 years to celebrate the most committed of these individuals and the causes that they support. Each year, we develop turn-key tools, like the Product and Donor Eligibility Dating Calendar, incorporating real, inspiring stories of donors nominated by their own communities, that blood centers can use to motivate staff, thank their donor base, and enhance their local recruitment efforts.
